Headgear & Chinstraps

Purchasing the proper headgear is the only way to ensure that you will benefit the most you possibly can from your CPAP therapy.  The different styles of headgear are all paired with a certain mask in order to better your therapy.

Not having the proper headgear to match your mask will cause for therapy to suffer or not be effective at all.   Chinstraps are beneficial for those who have chosen a nasal mask or nasal pillow.  Chinstraps allow for air only to pass through your nose when you sleep as opposed to escaping out of your mouth.  Headgear is necessary regardless of what style of mask you choose, it is the only thing that can truly secure your mask so that your CPAP therapy works to the best of its ability.

Nasal Pillow Headgear

Nasal pillow headgear securely fastens to a nasal pillow mask in order to receive proper therapy.  Not having nasal pillow headgear to accompany your nasal pillow mask would cause air leaks, combating any therapy techniques.  Nasal Pillow Headgear has a streamlined design and ensures for CPAP therapy to something that benefits you with each use.

Chinstraps

Chinstraps are usually paired with nasal or nasal pillow CPAP masks.  Their job is to keep the mouth closed during sleep so that air is only able to pass through the nose, ensuring therapy pressure is effectively administered.  Chinstraps are a way to insure that you are getting the most out of your CPAP mask.
